Technical Architect (Dev & Integration)

You are responsible for communicating, researching, planning, improving and governing the Technical Architecture, mainly by working on reference architectures (by creating building blocks) for business projects (by supporting the Solution Architects), and enhancements on both (by modifying building blocks and maintaining roadmaps).

• You provide technical leadership and insights for the technologies that have been identified / required as part of a solution (to Solution Architects)
• You have a hands-on approach while applying IT best practices and architectural standards to follow
• You provide expertise in your disciplines and areas
• You maintain roadmap for the product components per technology area
• You coach, guide and support the implementation team, working closely with our partner
• You validate and provide feedback on detailed designs

• You can quickly understand and apply the long-term ("Big Picture") vision and tactical needs
• You have a strong customer-orientation and security-mindset
• You can easily communicate, negotiate and work together with different colleagues and with your client
• You have strong analytical, technical and organizational skills
• You have a master degree or equivalent through experience
• You have at least 8 years of experience as a Technical Architect
• You have a good written and verbal knowledge of English and Dutch/French (preferably with at least a passive knowledge of the second language)
• You have experience working together with Service Providers
• You have experience with translating applications requirements into technology Architectures.
• You are experienced in making of roadmaps and business cases.
• You have a demonstrated knowledge of
  • Application & integration architecture patterns
  • DevOps and CI/CD
  • Foundation or Supporting Services: middleware, databases…
  • (Security) best practices for applications & data
  • API Management integration technologies and µService Architecture knowledge
  • Azure Iaas & PaaS
  • REST API (OpenAPI/GraphQL)
  • .net/java
  • Integration technologies
    • Service bus (pref IBM ESB/MQ, Kafka…)
    • ETL/CDC
• You can document the environment using Archimate in SparX
• Experience with WSO2 API Management is a big plus
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Experience with Xamarin/Mendix is a plus
• Experience with Sonarcube is a plus
• Knowledge of Azure automation, infrastructure as code is a plus
• Knowledge of Oracle and Postgres databases is a plus
• Knowledge of Data Analytics on Azure is a plus
• API Management integration technologies and µService Architecture knowledge is a plus
• Experience with a multi-cloud environment is a plus
