Tasks
You will work with our customer SNCB (specifically SNCB Procurement) to develop a roadmap for your Business Area that is aligned with the business strategy, helping to achieve the company's digital transformation and priorities
You ensure that all applications within your Business Area are grouped into a number of portfolios and appoint an owner (and backup owner) for each portfolio who is end-to-end responsible for the stability, availability, performance and evolution of the applications and modules within his/her portfolio
You are responsible for contacts with the customer and with all other stakeholders, especially when it comes to strategic decisions
You assess the risks, visibility and criticality of projects and discuss them regularly with your department head
You draw up an OPEX and CAPEX budget in line with the main stakeholders and with SNCB's business strategy and priorities and manage these budgets with due diligence
You ensure that your team is optimally staffed according to the needs, so that service delivery, knowledge assurance and dissemination are guaranteed; in case of conflicting requests for project capacity, you act as an escalation point. You manage your employees and coach them, you hold 1-2-1's at regular intervals, promote mutual cooperation and, in cooperation with HR, ensure the necessary training and development
Hard Skills
You have a Master's degree, preferably in IT or economics, or equivalent through experience
You have at least 10 years of relevant experience within an IT environment, of which at least 5 years with managing a team. You speak and write fluently in Dutch, French and English
You have a thorough knowledge of Project Management (both Agile and Waterfall methodologies) and IT processes (ITIL).
You have functional knowledge of SAP Ariba for the following modules:
Spend Analysis
Sourcing and Contracts
Supplier Lifecycle & Performance
Guided Buying
Commerce Automation
Supply Chain Collaboration
You have good business knowledge of end-to-end Procurement processes (source-to-contract / contract-to-pay)
Knowledge of tools such as Jira, ServiceNow and SAP SolMan are a bonus
